Commitment

The development of organic chemistry has made it possible to compose perfumes from a mixture of natural raw materials and synthetic materials.

The Reality of Synthetic Molecules

Synthetic perfumes, although mostly derived from petrochemicals (which raises ecological questions), are strictly controlled by various organizations to eliminate components harmful to health and the environment.

  • Safety and Diversity: They can be less allergenic and offer an incomparable olfactory richness. Whether they exist in nature (like limonene in oranges or geraniol in roses) or are invented (like ambroxan), these molecules allow us to obtain notes impossible to reproduce naturally, such as that of lilac .

  • The Case of Lilac: This fragrant flower cannot be extracted naturally. To forgo this note would be to deprive our senses of an olfactory pleasure!

Natural Materials and Ethical Choice

Natural raw materials (flowers, roots, fruits) are sublime and precious, but they are not always enough to create our perfumes. That's why we favor a nuanced approach:

  • Our synthetic perfumes are partly made with natural materials (essential oils) and synthetic aromatic materials.

  • Our Natural Perfumes are composed of essential oils and entirely natural aromatic raw materials.

Our Commitment: Quality Before Origin

We are committed to not deforesting to obtain essential oils or overusing fossil fuels. Our priority is understanding the origin and impact of each raw material.

A perfume, whether natural or synthetic, does not determine its quality or its danger, but rather the origin of its components.

Whether they are of natural or synthetic origin, our perfumes are clean!
